Properties and Applications
• Resistant to conditions of sudden temperature change
• Good strength retention at elevated temperature
• Excellent toughness and ductility
• High corrosion resistance
• Easily hardened with very little change of size
• Excellent thermal conductivity
• Capability of heat ventilation by directly using water
• Capable for Nitriding to increase surface hardness
Distribution Formats
• ANNEALED with Hardness at 229 HB MIN
Hardening
• Hardening temperature at 1000C-1050C. Hardening substances used: oil and air. Hardness obtained after hardening at 54 HRC
• Tempering temperature at 100C-650C. Hardness obtained after tempering 42-54 HRC
Application
Capable for being used in a variety of hot works, for instance, Hot Extrusion (Metal), hot stamping, hot forging, glass molding, plastic molding, screws and nuts, injecting container for plastic and metal, ejector, and hot work cutters
